Lassie is a lovely 4 year old girl who has never raced. Her owners homed her as a puppy but unfortunately she was returned to them recently due to conflict in the home with a resident terrier. Lassie is back with her racing family on a farm. She is happily mixing with all the dogs and other animals.

Lassie came to stay with us for a weekend so that we could assess her. Lassie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves cuddles. She enjoys her walks in the country. She lacks a bit of confidence in new places and situations. We feel she will be happier in a rural/semi rural environment where she can have routine. She is completely clean in the home and relaxed around another hound. No sign of food guarding. She met a number of different dogs at the farm and chose to avoid the noisy ones!  She travels well in the car.

We would be looking to home her from Cumbria so an adopter would need to visit her up here. Lassie will make a lovely companion for someone offering a quiet home with a nice garden.

Lassie had a season in the summer so will not be able to be neutered for a few weeks. If Lassie is homed before neutering, preference will be given to adopters that we know well, as it is imperative that she is neutered when the time is right.
