Bigz - a special hound, never forgotten

In April 2007 after losing Bigz our first trailie, we came across a 1 year old trailie called Sue up near Cockermouth. Her owner told us that she was due to race that night, but if we wanted to take her home with us we could.
He told us that Sue was more of a tourist than a racer as she would stop and take in the Cumbrian air! So we decided to take her in as part of the family. On the journey back to the B&B we were stopping in, we decided to change her name to Zuzy Soo after eighties punk band lead singer Siouxie & the Banshees. Since we have had her she has brought up 2 Lhasa Apsos from pups, Scrumpy & Pudin, who all enjoy a good mad 5 minutes play.
She also helps promote Trailhounds at different events such as Dogs Trust Kenilworth Shows & in Aug 09. the Doggie Kapers fundraising day at our small retail unit at Hoar Park Craft Village near Nuneaton. Paws n’ Claws 2 is our unit is where we sell dog & cat accessories (see the News page for more information). Zuzy also enjoys holidays in our caravan & she has won several rosettes at fun dog shows. She has also helped Helen to walk again since her accident that disabled her.
We can safely say without a doubt if you’re looking for a dog give a trailie a go, you won’t disappointed.
